Summary
To perform set-up, tear down, and operation of Equipment in support of Printed Circuit Board Assembly Processes and Procedures in a lean manufacturing environment.
Work Hours
6:00am-4:30pm Monday – Thursday: 10 hour shifts
4:30pm-3:00am Monday – Thursday: 10 hour shifts
Weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday): 6:00am-6:30pm, work 36 hours, paid 40 hours
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Set-up and operate surface mount equipment.
Perform basic levels of maintenance following established procedures, and assist maintenance technicians as required.
Identify and report defective components.
Responsible for the accuracy of work-in-process.
Track work being completed and communicate line status every hour.
Perform minor machine adjustments as needed.
Control, document and process to MRB non-conforming material.
Understand and follow all applicable ISO and job specific procedures.
Responsible for the cleanliness of work area and surrounding work space.
Inspect each assembled PCB before solder operations to ensure compliance to solderability standards.
Assist engineering in debugging equipment programs.
Maintain data logs.
Other responsibilities as required and necessary for the business.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in equipment operation preferred.
Knowledge of workmanship standards.
Experience with pick and place equipment. Universal Fuzion is a plus.
SPC experience is a plus.
Knowledge of component identification and component nomenclature.
Ability to set up and tear down operation.
Knowledge of component handling, including ESD requirements.
Capable of performing job function utilizing written procedures, verbal instructions and visual aids.
Basic computer skills.
Good organizational skills.
Ability to work and communicate effectively in a lean team environment.
The pay rate starts at $22.00 + per hour depending on experience.
