
Scheduler Secretary

Responsibilities
Screen incoming calls and determining urgency and how to direct
Maintain files
Schedule appointments and/or procedures
Greet and register patients
Requirements
One (1) to two (2) years experience in healthcare field
Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction and positive communication of scheduling information with patients, their families, outside institutions, physicians and other Hospital departments and staff
Requires a personality that fosters a team cohesiveness within the workplace
Proficient in the use of a computer. Keyboarding skills with a minimum 35 wpm.
Requires good office skills and competence with basic office machines
Must have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel
Requires ability to handle multiple tasks without sacrificing attention to detail.
Requires ability to work under pressure.
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
Ability to read and interpret Physician’s orders
Strong customer service skills
Highly motivated self-starter; able to motivate others
Enthusiastic team player
Salary and Benefits
Salary Range: 18.00 - 26.58 USD
We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including
job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data.
In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.
The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
