
3rd Shift - Production Operator - Yogurt

Job Requirements

Duties
The 3rd shift Yogurt Operator will be involved in all operational aspects of yogurt production. The primary duties are to package bulk yogurt (barrels and totes) from approximately 11 pm to 3 am. Following bulk packaging, operator will then help with additional packaging such as pails, retail cups, etc. Secondary duties include, but are not limited to, milk separation, standardizing milk with powders and cream, pasteurization, CIP, and ferment tank operation.
Shift Hours
3rd shift: 10:00 pm - until done (typically 8-9 hour shift), Monday Friday, plus occasional Saturday.
Experience and Qualifications
Requirements: Food industry experience is preferred but not required. Must be willing to work overtime as needed. A good attendance record is required. Candidate must be a team player. Employees are required to stand the duration of the shift with frequent and repetitive bending, stooping, turning, reaching, grasping and lifting up to 50 pounds.
