Overview
HRIS – Oracle Recruiting Senior Associate

Grant Thornton is seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Functional Senior Associate to support Grant Thornton's internal HRIS team. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in the Oracle HCM Cloud suite, specifically within the

Recruiting (ORC)

and

Core HR

modules, and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting end-to-end recruitment solutions aligned with client business processes. This is an internal role to support Grant Thornton specifically.

Responsibilities

Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze recruiting-related requirements.

Enhance existing configurations and configure and implement Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) functionality for new entities, including job requisitions, candidate management, and recruiting flows.

Contribute to configurations within Core HR related to Pending Worker, Onboarding, Hiring, and security needs.

Lead requirements gathering workshops and translate business needs into functional specifications for system configurations.

Define and configure recruitment templates, approval hierarchies, and recruiting security roles.

Configure Redwood UX and Recruiting Analytics/OTBI Reports to enhance user experience.

Enable additional Recruiting Booster capabilities to support business requirements as needed.

Support system testing (SIT, UAT), go-live, and hyper-care phases.

Perform and support extracts, integrations (OIC), and HDL/HSDL uploads.

Prepare functional documentation, process flows, and training materials.

Provide ongoing support and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

3-5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Recruiting and Oracle Core HR.

Experience with Journeys, Self-Service (MSS/ESS), and Redwood/VB UX configuration.

Experience working in multi-country ORC implementations.

Familiarity with Fast Formulas, HDL/HSDL, and data migration processes.

Proven ability to collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Project management experience.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution.

Bachelor's degree.

Preferred

Oracle HCM Cloud Functional Certifications - Recruiting/HR and Core HR.

Proven capability of influencing, coaching, and advising team members.

Exposure to AI Agents.

Compensation
The base salary range for this position in the firm’s Chicago, IL, Downers Grove, IL, Denver, CO, Reno, NV, Cleveland, OH and Baltimore, MD offices only is between $76,000 and $114,000 per year.
