Marketing Intern

Overview
At Amerita, the Intern will support cross‑functional business operations within a specialty infusion pharmacy environment. This role provides exposure to key areas including operations, finance, sales, and marketing while contributing to projects that enhance patient care, operational efficiency, and business performance. The Intern will gain hands‑on experience, develop professional skills, and collaborate with team members across the organization. Schedule: Mon – Fri 8am‑5pm. The position is full‑time during the summer with potential to transition to part‑time or PRN the following school year.
Requirements
Must be a college junior, senior, or recent graduate.
Working towards a Marketing degree.
Knowledgeable in brand development and marketing material creation.
Knowledgeable in social media and website creation materials.
Self‑starter and proactive.
Responsibilities
Supports day‑to‑day operations across departments such as pharmacy operations, intake, billing, finance, sales, and marketing.
Assists with data entry, reporting, and analysis to support business initiatives.
Participates in process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and patient experience.
Collaborates with cross‑functional teams on assigned projects and deliverables.
Conducts research and compiles findings to support strategic initiatives.
Assists in preparing presentations, reports, and internal communications.
Maintains accurate documentation and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
Provides administrative and project support to department leaders as needed.
Supervisory responsibility: none.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university.
Pursuing a degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field preferred.
Strong interest in healthcare and/or specialty pharmacy.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Analytical thinking and problem‑solving ability.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
Percentage of Travel: 0‑25%.
Driving Position: No.
Physical Requirements
To perform this role will require frequently sitting, and typing on a keyboard with fingers, and occasionally standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing (stairs/ladders), kneeling, crouching, and stooping. The physical requirements will be the ability to push/pull and lift/carry 1‑10 lbs
