Job Summary / Purpose

Develops long‑range project plan scopes of work and budgets. Executes assigned planned O&M projects and capital projects. Assists ETS‑E manager with the outage planning process, boiler tube failure reduction process, risk register and 5‑year budget plan, and project management as needed and assigned in the ETS support group.
Job Duties / Responsibilities

Oversee long‑range and detailed project planning and execution of assigned unit projects according to the outage planning process.
Manage cost, schedule, and safety processes for all assigned project scopes of work.
Interface with Plant Management personnel to communicate and drive resolution of key issues impacting assigned projects, fostering positive working relationships across the ETS‑E region plants.
Manage as necessary to deliver expected financial, safety, and schedule results on assignment, including scopes, projects, outage planning process reviews, ECD, and 5‑year budget planning.
Attend ETS monthly ROP meetings and provide financial updates on assigned projects.
Understand, negotiate, and influence contract language for vendors and contractors to protect Entergy’s best interests.
Ensure safety‑sensitive position requirements, including mandatory pre‑employment and random drug testing.
Be available for additional hours, alternate locations, and duties during storms, outages, emergencies, or other needed situations; exempt employees may not receive overtime for such duties.
Minimum Requirements

Associate’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
Minimum Experience Required

3–5 years of power plant maintenance related experience.
2 years of demonstrated experience in a project management role.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

Power plant major component repair; MAXIMO, AIMM; ROP, OPP, risk register, supply chain and accounting policies and procedures.
EH&S policy knowledge; compliance standards, especially Sarbanes‑Oxley.
Knowledge of industry standards related to modification of plant components and engineering standards.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
ASME codes applicable to large power boilers and steam piping.
