
Instrument Technician (IO) – Survey – Oil and Gas

Key Responsibilities
Utilize a range of survey equipment, including GPS receivers, robotic and conventional instrumentation, with precision and expertise.
Conduct field surveys on behalf of our clients, ensuring data accuracy and thoroughness.
Acquire an understanding of basic field calculations and procedures.
Perform assigned survey instrumentation operations, taking responsibility for collected survey data.
Download survey data efficiently and accurately.
Demonstrate proficiency in data collection using Trimble equipment and associated software products.
Maintain and operate survey instrumentation throughout the data collection process, ensuring equipment remains in optimal working condition.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in surveying.
Maintain a valid driver’s license and pass a drug screen.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Physical fitness and stamina for extended periods of outdoor work.
This position will be based out of West Texas, primarily in the Midland/Odessa market.
