Variational Methods and Geometric Analysis for Nonlinear Problems and Technologi
Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research, Italy, NY, United States
Offer Description
The researcher will carry out activities within the scientific sector MATH-03/A, with particular focus on variational methods and geometric analysis techniques applied to partial differential equations and Hamiltonian dynamical systems, including those defined on Riemannian manifolds that may be degenerate on subsets, and will also engage in close collaboration with the engineering area group for the modeling of complex systems. Teaching duties will concern courses within the same scientific area and also applied subjects such as Embedded Systems Programming and Human-Machine Interaction, fostering connections between theoretical methods and modeling approaches. The position also involves significant activities in technology transfer towards local industries, aimed at patent development, the creation of innovative systems, and the promotion of mathematical culture, with particular reference to the national "Liceo Matematico" project and teacher training
