Responsibilities
Drive the end-to-end process for all data service orders (MACD), including Broadband/DIA, Fiber, EPL, and WISP services.
Serve as the main point of contact for telecom carriers, responsible for submitting order packages, scheduling installations, and resolving service issues.
Oversee the technical activation and turn-up of new circuits and associated equipment, ensuring adherence to project requirements.
Diagnose and resolve circuit-level issues, collaborate with the Network Engineering team on projects and operational support.
Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all active circuits, documenting critical details for accuracy and lifecycle management.
Requirements
Proven ability to manage vendor and carrier relationships to meet project deadlines.
Exceptional attention to detail for tracking complex circuit IDs and maintaining billing accuracy.
Deep functional knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
Knowledge of diverse telecom standards and circuit types such as Fiber and Broadband.
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science; industry certifications like CCNA or Network+ are highly desirable.
