About the Role
The Architect conducts site investigations and develops architectural and engineering documentation for campus buildings and utilities. From the document: “The Architect will be relied upon to independently create full campus facility architectural and engineering documentation including utilities using AutoCAD and Revit for all existing campus buildings.”
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed AutoCAD and Revit drawings, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, and utility documentation.
Conduct site investigations and record field notations.
Analyze architectural drawings and develop accurate documentation sets.
Support documentation management and coordination with engineering teams.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of building and utility records.
Minimum Qualifications
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
Ability to conduct field measurements and site investigations.
Strong documentation and technical drawing skills.
Strong communication skills.
Physical Requirements
Frequent on‑site building walkthroughs.
Ability to climb stairs, access mechanical spaces, and carry equipment up to 25 lbs.
Extended periods of computer‑based drafting.
