Leidos' Digital Modernization Practice Area is seeking a Classified Area System Administrator in Colorado Springs, CO.
Position Summary
We're looking for a skilled System Administrator to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in designing, maintaining, and enhancing our architecture, ensuring compliance with information assurance requirements, and guaranteeing continuity of operations.

Clearance Requirement
Must have an active Secret clearance and be able to maintain Secret clearance.
Primary Responsibilities
Set up and maintain Windows servers, desktops, and network devices; bonus points for Linux experience.
Embrace new technologies to meet evolving requirements.
Contribute to system design, hardware/software implementation, and overall infrastructure support.
Document system configurations and baselines.
Provide backup and recovery services while managing file systems and disk space.
Utilize desktop and server virtualization within Hyper-V, VMware vSphere, and ESXi.
Handle ticket load and prioritization of daily on-site support and troubleshooting.
Work on multiple projects, either as a team member or occasionally leading a project.
Manage user accounts and access control in a domain or stand‑alone environment.
Ensure the proper marking, handling, and storage of classified materials.
Troubleshoot and repair Windows operating system issues on server and workstations.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of System Administrator experience; additional relevant professional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
SDREN and/or SIPR experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to interface effectively with security agencies, customers, and management.
Manage multiple networks in a dynamic, demanding environment.
Familiarity with Risk Management Framework requirements for Windows and Linux systems.
Directive 8570 / 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP).
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a classified Collateral environment / SAP / SCI.
System Administrator experience in a similarly sized organization.
Understanding of network concepts, cybersecurity tools, Nessus, Symantec Endpoint Protection.
Knowledge of securely configuring network equipment (switches and firewalls).
Experience with ESXi.
