Tenant Rights | Landlord-Tenant Litigation
Salary: $140,000 – $200,000 + Bonuses
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: In Office | Glendale, California
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

SUMMARY
Arzoomanian Law is a California plaintiffs litigation firm dedicated to representing individuals whose rights have been violated. Our practice focuses on tenant habitability and landlord-tenant litigation, helping tenants living in unsafe or uninhabitable housing conditions pursue justice.
We take pride in the fact that we do not represent insurance companies or large corporations. Our firm has intentionally limited its practice to representing people. Every case we handle is on behalf of individuals seeking accountability and fair treatment.
We are expanding our tenant rights litigation practice and are seeking a motivated Litigation Attorney who wants meaningful courtroom experience while advocating for tenants facing serious habitability issues.
This role is ideal for attorneys who want to build strong litigation skills, take ownership of cases, and make a real impact in the community.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Case Management
Manage a caseload of landlord-tenant habitability litigation matters
Handle cases from filing through settlement or trial
Develop litigation strategy for each case
Litigation & Court Representation
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and trial documents
Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement conferences
Prepare cases for trial
Client Advocacy
Advise tenants dealing with unsafe or uninhabitable living conditions
Maintain clear communication with clients throughout the litigation process
Evaluate damages and legal remedies available to tenants
Negotiation & Resolution
Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel
Evaluate case value and develop settlement strategy
Legal Strategy
Stay current on California landlord-tenant and habitability law
Collaborate with the litigation team on complex matters
QUALIFICATIONS
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active California Bar license or awaiting bar results
Litigation experience preferred but not required
Strong legal writing and research skills
Excellent negotiation and advocacy abilities
Ability to manage cases independently while working within a team
Passion for tenant rights and plaintiff-side advocacy
WORK REQUIREMENTS
This position is in-office in Glendale, California.
Ability to appear in Los Angeles County courts when required
Professional work environment suitable for confidential legal work
