Senior Litigation Paralegal Personal Injury

Jerez Law, PLLC, Las Vegas, NV, United States

Litigation Paralegal – Personal Injury (5+ Years)
We are hiring a senior litigation paralegal who operates like an owner. This is not a support role. This is a case execution and team leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

Own litigation files end-to-end

Drive case movement with discernment

Lead and develop 2 junior paralegals

Create leverage for 3 attorneys at different levels

If you need constant direction, this role will not work. If you take control and move things forward, you’ll thrive here. In addition to leading, you will schedule reference checks with prior employers.

Responsibilities

Case Velocity:

Cases move from filing to discovery in ~75 days. Discovery requests out within 2 weeks of JCCR. Discovery responses ready for review within 2 weeks of receipt. Expert materials ready 30 days prior to disclosures.

File Quality:

Files are clean, complete, and always review-ready. Medical, deposition, and discovery summaries are current. CRM reflects real-time case status.

Team Output:

Junior paralegals produce accurate, consistent work. Delegation is clear and enforced. Output improves under your leadership.

Client Experience:

Clients are informed, not chasing us. Communication is proactive and clear.

Qualifications and Expectations

Running PI litigation files without micromanagement.

Managing 60–120 active cases.

Anticipating issues before they become problems.

Working with different attorney personalities.

Keeping files clean under pressure.

Communicating clearly with clients, providers, and adjusters.

Delegating and holding others accountable.

No excuses.

No victim mindset.

No missed deadlines without ownership.

Must handle direct feedback.

Must follow systems before trying to change them.

Who This Is For
You take ownership without being asked. You care about clean, high‑performing files. You can lead without needing authority. You want to be judged on results.

Who This Is Not For
You wait for direction. You struggle with volume. You avoid accountability. You prefer “task‑based” work.

Compensation
$85,000 - $100,000 per year.
