General Description
The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Administrator assists in the implementation of a new ERP system. This position works with various offices in Chesterfield County Public Schools and Government to ensure the ERP system meets the needs and specifications of the school system, and manages integrations between the ERP system and other systems. This position is responsible for the creation and maintenance of business process workflows, reports and dashboards, and training end-users on the system.
Job Description
Essential Job Functions
Participates in the implementation, enhancement, and upgrade of the new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
Collaborates with various offices with Human Resources and other business units to ensure the ERP system is integrated and aligned with business processes
Identifies and evaluates the translation of business needs into business process workflows using best practices
Creates and evaluates user access and security settings in the ERP system
Ensures data integrity during and after data conversions
Creates and maintains reports and dashboards to meet the needs of various departments
Manages integrations between the ERP system and other division systems
Develops and maintains training documentation for the use of the ERP system
Provides technical support to end-users on issues related to the ERP system
Performs other duties as assigned
Budgetary Responsibility
This position does not have any budgetary responsibility or authority.
Report Preparation
The employee will create analytical and statistical reports utilizing Microsoft and Google suites, as well as other tools as needed, to aid management and executive staff in decision-making.
Equipment Operation
Utilizes general office equipment, including personal computer, copier, and fax machine.
Contacts
Frequent contact with internal and external stakeholders.
Work Direction/Supervision
The ERP Administrator will work at the direction of the Assistant Director of HR Information Systems. This role has no direct reports.
Decision Making
The ERP Administrator will contribute to decision-making using problem-solving, leadership, and reasoning skills.
Formal Policy-Setting Responsibilities
The ERP Administrator may make policy suggestions and improvements to management and implement at the discretion of management.

Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Strong analytical skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Working knowledge of multiple finance disciplines, to include: federal and state reporting requirements, accounting, payroll, student activity funds, and budget and grants functions preferred. Knowledge of School Board policies, programs, and regulations preferred.
Additional Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or sufficient related experience to demonstrate the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities. Experience creating and conducting training for various levels of employees within an organization.
Preferred
Experience with Excel and ERP systems, such as Oracle, SAP, or Workday. Proficiency in SQL, and in creating reports and dashboards.
