The Maintenance Technician provides repair and maintenance of equipment, facilities and building structures at Women’s Care healthcare clinics under the direction of the Facilities Director:

Responsibilities

Travels to various healthcare clinics and provides facility repairs and records work order completion.

Manages the work order system.

Records Life Safety equipment maintenance.

Performs all repairs in compliance with state and local healthcare governing agencies.

Manages and oversees outside contractors.

Demonstrates and embodies Women’s Care’s mission and core values.

Complies with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

2–3 years’ experience in healthcare or biomedical facilities maintenance.

Experience in one or more building trades: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry.

Basic knowledge of Life Safety equipment (general function and operation).

General computer knowledge and experience.Familiarity with preventive maintenance work order systems.

Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Ability to prioritize and follow specified procedures.

Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.
