About this position

Vaco has been engaged by a locally owned corporation to hire a Human Resources Manager to handle all HR related functions. The Human Resources Manager will work together with executive management to develop, implement, and execute HR initiatives at all levels of the company. They are looking for a strategic HR professional who has a passion for Human Resources and will ensure the business will flow smoothly from an HR perspective.
Responsibilities

Plans, manages, coordinates various Human Resource functions, organizes, and schedules all necessary resources required to accomplish activities
Plans and coordinates new employee orientation to foster a positive attitude toward company goals
Coordinates record of insurance coverage, 401(k) plan, and personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations
Coordinates safety and health requirements and compliance, including safety committee, safety training and preparing reports for insurance carrier
Represents organization at personnel related hearings and investigations
Contracts with outside suppliers to provide employee services, such as relocation service
Conducts training on company policy issues, and other issues as they arise
Counsel's employees and other managers on various employee relation issues
Maintains technical knowledge and a current awareness of new Human Resource developments and techniques
Requirements

6+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources
Experience in Retention, Benefit Management, Compliance, Audits, and Training, etc.
A Bachelor's degree is required, and Human Resource certification(s) are strongly preferred
All applicants must have a high level of integrity and have a passion for helping others
ONLY CANDIDATES WITH REQUIRED EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED.
Responsibilities will include a variety of HR functions such as benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, training, and strategic planning. The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong communication and leadership skills.
