Responsibilities
Job Summary: The Material Handler is responsible for the movement, storage, and control of materials and products. This role involves loading and unloading materials, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring the efficient flow of materials to support production and shipping operations.
Key Responsibilities
Storage and Organization:
Store materials in designated areas, ensuring proper labeling and organization for easy retrieval.
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock counts, and report discrepancies.
Material Movement:
Transport materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
Order Fulfillment:
Pick and prepare materials for production or shipment according to work orders or shipping instructions.
Safety Compliance:
Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment, including proper handling of hazardous materials.
Equipment Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance on material handling equipment and report any malfunctions or needed repairs.
Documentation:
Complete and maintain necessary documentation, such as inventory logs, shipping records, and receiving reports.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic computer skills for inventory management and documentation.
Physical stamina to lift and move heavy materials.
Skills
Effective communication and teamwork.
Problem-solving and critical thinking.
Time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.

Competitive Compensation
Pay Range: $19.76/hr to $23.8/hr
Participation in Annual Incentive Program
