Appraiser I – Fresno County Assessor‑Recorder’s Office
Incumbents perform real property appraisals for assessment purposes, including appraisals of land parcels, dwellings, and other building structures.
Responsibilities
Conduct real‑property appraisals for assessment purposes.
Review property data, conduct field inspections, and prepare valuation reports.
Collaborate with county staff and community stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. college or university.
Valid driver’s license.
Valid appraiser certificate issued by the State Board of Equalization, obtained prior to completion of the probationary period.
