
Set Up Operator - 1st Shift

Position Summary
Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
Responsibilities
Machine parts to specifications, using machine tools and CNC machines and Cam driven Bar Machines.
Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations.
Change offsets on CNC Machines.
Read and understand blueprints.
Utilize precision instrumentation and gages to verify product quality and integrity.
Move completed parts per standard work processes.
Complete appropriate documentation to track production and quality outputs.
Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement activities.
All other duties as assigned by Supervisor or designee.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of six months of on-site training as a machine operator or 3 years of related work experience as a machinist
