SALARY RANGE: Salary Commensurate with Experience
POSITION / FTE: 1.00 (Full Time Exempt)
Job Purpose
The Alumni & Family Engagement Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of alumni and family engagement programs designed to strengthen relationships, build community, and increase participation in institutional priorities. This position reports to the Director of Alumni & Family Engagement and plays a key role in the experience of all Taft alumni and families. This position is ideal for an organized professional interested in building a career in alumni engagement, advancement, or higher education.
Position Requirements
The duties and responsibilities of the Alumni & Family Engagement Coordinator include but are not limited to:
Assist with volunteer recruitment and recognition efforts.
Maintain accurate records in our CRM/database (Raiser’s Edge).
Collaborate with annual giving, major gifts, and advancement services to support engagement strategies and donor pipeline goals.
Support the planning and execution of engagement activities, both on and off campus.
Minimum Desired Qualifications
1-2 years of relevant experience in events, customer service, higher education, communications, etc.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable working with databases/CRMs and learning new systems.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Minimal travel required. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
