Job Description:
We are searching for diligent and energetic Trailer/Container Loaders, often known as Lumpers, to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working as part of a critical operations team. As a Lumper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are handled carefully and efficiently loaded into trailers and containers.
Key Responsibilities:
Efficient Loading:
Safely and efficiently load trailers/containers as per the set protocols and guidelines.
Product Handling:
Ensure careful handling of products to prevent damage during loading processes.
Team Coordination:
Work collaboratively with the team to optimize load patterns for safe transit.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
Qualifications:
Physical Endurance:
Must be able to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
Team Player:
Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment.
Attention to Detail:
Keen eye for detail to ensure accurate loading and inventory management.
Adaptability:
Flexibility to perform various tasks and work under varying conditions.
Previous Experience:
Experience in a loading or warehouse role is considered advantageous but not essential.
Working Hours:
7:00am-5:30pm
10-hour shifts from
Wednesday to Saturday
Availability for overtime during peak periods may be required
