Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Outreach Coordinator located in Fort Pierce, FL. The Outreach Coordinator will manage and support community engagement initiatives, develop outreach programs, and foster partnerships with external stakeholders. Primary responsibilities include organizing and delivering educational programs, conducting research to inform outreach strategies, training volunteers or staff, and maintaining effective communication with community members and partners. Additionally, the role involves providing exceptional customer service to external audiences during events and programs.
Qualifications
Strong Communication and Community Outreach skills to effectively engage diverse audiences and foster meaningful relationships.
Customer Service skills to provide a positive experience for program participants and community members.
Experience in Research and program development to inform and improve outreach strategies.
Training and facilitation skills to prepare volunteers or staff for community engagement and educational initiatives.
Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and project management capabilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in using relevant software tools and social media platforms is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in communications, education, environmental science, or a related field is required.
Previous experience in outreach, community engagement, or education is highly desirable.
