ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Provide a variety of general labor duties resort wide including firewood delivery, re-filling, and delivery of propane tanks, pressure washing, leaf blowing, moving furniture and other daily assignments.
Lifting, transporting, and disposing of garbage in a safe, effective, and environmentally friendly manner.
Ensuring recyclables such as glass, paper and plastic are properly separated.
Operate equipment and trash compactors on property effectively.
Works independently coordinating daily workflow in assigned locations across property.
Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools and reassemble equipment.
Incumbents may perform any combination of the essential job functions related or unrelated as required or assigned by the Director of Engineering or designee; this may include but not be limited to, snow removal, rotating shift, or any other unrelated Engineering job functions.
Other job duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
These skills and abilities are typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as through recreational experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty staff, students, and coworkers.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule that includes evening and weekend duty.
Must be able to speak English.
