Job Description
The Customer Service Representative assists the Operations and Sales Departments with administrative support through timely and accurate processing of orders, communication and coordination with customers' other departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Build and maintain customer loyalty by providing prompt friendly service
Support the sales team in a variety of tasks as required
Review orders for accuracy and completion
Issue production shop orders for inventory production to fulfill orders
Inform customer of shipping date and any possible delays
Notify appropriate department of order and shipping date
Verify customer information is correct and up-to-date
Check customer account for credit and outstanding payments
Assist with coordinating logistics for outside processing and purchasing
Other duties as assigned
Qualification Requirements
High School Diploma/GED equivalent
One to three years related experience
Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette
Computer skills: MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and company ERP software
Organized and detail‑oriented
Flexible and responsive with a strong teamwork orientation
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Positive, can‑do attitude
Ability to work independently
Additional Experience (Plus, Not Required)
Certificate from college or technical school

This is a full‑time position in the competitive metal manufacturing field. Pay range may vary based on factors such as location, education, training and experience.
