The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of laundry facilities in a timely and efficient manner. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring high-quality service for our clients and contributes to the overall guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment.
Sort and categorize laundry by type, fabric, and washing requirements.
Wash, dry, fold, and press linens, uniforms, and personal clothing items as necessary.
Inspect laundered items to ensure they meet our quality standards, addressing and reporting any damage or stains.
Keep track of laundry supplies and communicate inventory needs to management.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry areas at all times.
Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Assist with any additional duties as needed to support the team's goals and objectives.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Prior experience in a similar role is a plus, though not required; we provide on-the-job training.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Effective communication skills and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting and moving heavy loads.
