Job Description Summary
Role Summary/Scope: The Lean Transformation Leader reports directly to the Site Leader and is responsible for leading and sustaining site-wide Lean initiatives to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People Engagement and Customer Satisfaction. This role partners with all local functional leaders, and employees to foster a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and problem-solving across all products, processes, and value stream that impact the Clearwater Site performance.

The Lean Transformation Leader will identify improvement opportunities, coach leaders and teams in Lean principles and tools, facilitate kaizen events, develop standard work, and help build organizational capability for sustained performance improvement.

Job Description
Essential Functions:

Lead the development and execution of the organization’s Lean transformation strategy aligned with business objectives.

Partner with senior leadership to define priorities, performance targets, and transformation roadmaps.

Serve as a change agent to embed a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.

Assess organizational maturity and identify opportunities to improve operational performance and business processes.

Lead Lean initiatives focused on improving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, inventory, cost, and overall market competitiveness.

Facilitate value stream mapping, kaizen events, root cause problem solving, and waste elimination activities.

Drive implementation of Lean methods such as 5S, visual management, standard work, daily management, takt time, pull systems, and flow optimization.

Support teams in identifying and eliminating non-value-added activities across end-to-end processes.

Ensure improvements are standardized, documented, sustained, and replicated where appropriate.

Coach function leaders, managers, and frontline teams on Lean principles, behaviors, and problem-solving methods.

Develop and deliver Lean training programs to build internal capability at all levels of the organization.

Mentor site leaders and functional teams in daily management, leader standard work, and accountability routines.

Foster employee engagement and ownership in continuous improvement initiatives.

Present Strategic plans and improvement roadmaps, to senior business leaders.

Digital/AI Enablement:

Lead the evaluation, selection, and deployment of new AI tools improve productivity, decision-making, and business outcomes.

Partner with stakeholders to identify business use cases and prioritize AI solutions aligned with strategic goals.

Drive user adoption through training, change management, communication, and support plans.

Track program performance, adoption rates, ROI, and operational impact of AI tool deployments.

Facilitate alignment between executive sponsors, technical teams, and end users throughout the program lifecycle.

Monitor emerging AI technologies and recommend new tools or enhancements to maintain competitive advantage.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field

5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, including project implementation and cross-functional collaboration

3+ years of Lean transformation experience

OMLP graduate or equivalent leadership program, preferred

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $104,600.00 and $174,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus. This posting is expected to remain open for at least seven days after it was posted on April 27, 2026.
