Monday - Sunday 4:00pm - 8:00pm - 28 Hours.
Bristol Adult Resource Center (BARC) is a non‑profit organization supporting adult individuals with intellectual & developmental disabilities by providing Residential, Vocational, Recreation and Day Support Services.
We are currently seeking a professional, caring, and motivated
Direct Support Professional (DSP)
to assist individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in our Residential Group Home Program.
Services include but are not limited to assisting individuals, promoting personal growth and reaching their goals, daily activities, providing personal care, and attending community and social activities.
Applicants with no experience or seeking a career change are encouraged to apply – we will train the right candidates.

Responsibilities
Provide opportunities for learning new skills and independence by working on individuals’ goals and plans.
Transport individual to and from programs and activities.
Administer medications and treatments meeting all guidelines and accurate documentation.
Provide a safe and nurturing environment where individuals are treated with dignity, respect, can exercise their rights and responsibilities and are protected from abuse or neglect.
Electronically record daily activities maintaining confidentiality and complying with all policies and procedures to protect the identity, medical, HIPAA information.
Obtain and maintain all required certifications and trainings (in person and online).
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least age 18.
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation.
