Position Summary
The Clinical Coordinator is a natural next step for an experienced Medical Assistant who is ready to take on greater ownership of the patient experience. In this role, you'll serve as a trusted guide for patients navigating the early diagnostic phase of their fertility journey. You will be walking them through testing, explaining results, and making sure they never feel alone in the process. You'll work closely with our physicians and clinical team in a fast-paced, high-touch environment where your clinical skills and your bedside manner matter equally.

Location and Schedule
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm, with a weekend rotation every 4-6 weeks. The primary location for this position is in St. Louis, but you may need to travel to other nearby locations on occasion.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for patients during the diagnostic phase, providing education and compassionate support through testing, results, and next steps

Coordinate required lab testing, consent forms, scheduling, and tracking of diagnostic procedures

Administer injections, manage patient medications, and collect and handle blood, urine, semen, and tissue samples

Perform phlebotomy (venipuncture/blood draws), order tests, and prepare specimens for send-out

Document patient information accurately in charts and maintain detailed patient flowsheets

Collaborate with physician, clinical, embryology, and billing staff to coordinate seamless patient care

Assist in monitoring the clinic, PACU/OR, and procedural areas, stepping in to support the MA team as needed

Participate in staff training, manage inventory, and other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Required

High School Diploma or equivalent

MA active certification/licensure

Active ACLS/BLS/CPR Certification

Phlebotomy experience

Preferred

Minimum of two years of professional experience in a clinical setting

Previous fertility or reproductive health experience

Ability to work procedure weekends on a monthly basis

Must be able to travel to other locations, as needed
