Job Summary
A 100% in‑office role reporting to a Denver‑based manager, focused on adjudicating commercial Garage Bodily Injury claims with technical complexity. The position requires independent judgment, strong communication, and the ability to manage claims from investigation through settlement, including litigation support.

Essential Responsibilities

Adjudicate Garage Bodily Injury claims at the highest authority limits with limited oversight.

Conduct detailed information gathering, analysis, and investigation for complex and undefined cases.

Report to senior management and underwriters on claims trends and developments.

Identify loss drivers and trends to reduce claims frequency and severity through data analysis and improved claim management.

Analyze claims forms, policies, endorsements, and client instructions to determine coverage.

Investigate claims promptly, including interviewing all involved parties.

Manage claims in litigation and coordinate expert resources to assist in case resolution.

Maintain accurate claim reserves and ensure timely movement of cases to optimal financial outcomes.

Prepare reports and file documentation.

Apply creative solutions to achieve the best financial outcome.

Negotiate settlements.

Process mail and prioritize workload.

Complete telephone calls and written correspondence with insureds, claimants, and other stakeholders.

Demonstrate passion for strong claim management.

Qualifications / Experience Required

Good business acumen and understanding of insurance profitability impacts.

Deep knowledge of General Liability Bodily Injury claims.

Minimum seven years’ experience adjudicating commercial Garage Bodily Injury claims.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; or two or more insurance designations or four additional years of related experience may substitute for the degree.

Ability to obtain a license in each jurisdiction requiring a license to adjudicate first‑party claims within 120 days of hire.

Salary ranges by location:

Albany and Chicago:

$151,000 – $181,250

Los Angeles:

$165,000 – $198,000
