$60-$70/hour

Overview
A new division within SMBC is seeking a skilled Collibra Developer to support initiatives focused on Cyber Data Governance and Data Quality. This role requires hands‑on expertise in Collibra platform development and data quality frameworks, along with experience working in large enterprise environments and exposure to cybersecurity-related datasets.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement data governance solutions using the Collibra platform.
Configure and customize Collibra workflows, integrations, and metadata models.
Implement and manage data quality rules and monitoring using Collibra Data Quality (DQ).
Collaborate with data stewards, analysts, and governance teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
Support cyber data governance initiatives, including handling datasets related to phishing, threats, and vulnerabilities.
Develop and execute data validation, testing, and quality checks across enterprise systems.
Work closely with cross-functional teams in a large enterprise environment to align governance frameworks with business and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
Hands‑on experience with Collibra development and implementation.
Strong experience with Collibra Data Quality (DQ) tools and frameworks.
Experience working in large enterprise environments.
Familiarity with cybersecurity datasets (e.g., phishing data, threat intelligence, vulnerability data).
Strong understanding of data governance principles, metadata management, and data quality practices.
Preferred Skills
Experience integrating Collibra with other data platforms and tools.
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks related to data governance and cybersecurity.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
Additional Information
Role is based in Charlotte, NC with a hybrid interview process (virtual and onsite).
