Job Summary
As a Respiratory Therapist, you’ll play an essential role in guiding patients through both routine care and critical moments. You’ll perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures while managing invasive and noninvasive ventilation across a variety of care settings. You’ll have access to advanced respiratory technology, mentorship from experienced RT leaders, and the support of a dependable, collaborative team that will set you up for success and ongoing professional growth. Responsibilities
You will performance of all routine respiratory procedures the Respiratory Practitioner will be responsible for special procedures, within his/her scope of practice
You will be maintaining and improving clinical competence, practicing universal precautions, maintaining, and cleaning equipment
You will provide consultation, collaboration and education to the medical staff, multi-disciplinary care team members, and patients/families
You will embrace and consistently demonstrate Swedish Memorable Care initiatives, encompassing both patients and employees
Position Requirements
NBRC accredited RRT credential or CRT if grandfathered in Current Colorado Respiratory License
Current BLS
ACLS certifications through AHA or ARC required.
PALS is preferred.
NRP is preferred.
Graduate of AMA accredited Respiratory Therapist Program
6 months previous experience
