RN Position Job Notes
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details
Must be charge capable and willing to charge
Orthopedic experience required
EPIC experience required
Patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6
No on-call requirements
May be floated to other in-patient units including rehab, post-op trauma, ortho neuro trauma, med-surg, oncology, and observation
Care for patients with total joint replacements (knees, hips, shoulders), ortho spine procedures (ACDF, TILF), and other orthopedic surgeries
Work with special equipment including bladder scanner, Hoyer lift, and orthopedic braces
Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA)
Minimum 2 years of experience required in specialty
Must have compact or Louisiana license in hand upon submittal
No RTO greater than 2 weeks permitted
Must live over 65 miles from facility (local travelers not accepted)
No call-ins permitted
May be assigned to Emergency Team during emergency events with expectation to stay at facility
Orientation held 5 days a week with billable modules completed during orientation
