Position Summary
The Laboratory Technician is responsible for various support tasks throughout the laboratory assigned on an as-need basis. Sample preparation, glassware cleaning, and sample disposal are typical functions. The ideal candidate shall be a detail-oriented, team-player and able to multi-task. Candidate should also have excellent communication and organizational skills.
Key Position Functions
Extract/Digest environmental samples with organic solvent or acid
Operate pipettors, balances, and/or graduated cylinders to measure sample volumes and weights
Prepare standards
Maintain scientific logbooks
Follow all Eurofins Standard Operating Procedures
Qualifications
Basic Minimum Qualifications: AA, AS, or BS in science or related field
Basic laboratory experience preferred but not required
Requirements
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English
Position Details
Full-time, Monday – Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Altamonte Springs, FL are encouraged to apply.
Pay: $17/hr. Compensation may vary based upon experience and skill set.
