Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for ICU patients
Perform health teaching, counseling, and ongoing patient health data collection
Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans, and refer patients as needed for further evaluation
Document in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts
Requirements
Active Colorado or Compact RN license required — no pending licenses
Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS — all must be AHA-issued and must not expire prior to the assignment start date
Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited school required; BSN preferred
Epic EMR experience required
DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
7 weekends required per 8-week block
Charting is performed in Epic
Candidates who were permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least one year to be eligible
