What We’re Looking For

Board‑certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds

Active state medical license

Minimum two years of post‑residency clinical experience, preferably in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting

Experience treating patients across all age groups

Proficiency in minor procedures such as suturing and splinting, and in reading EKGs and X‑rays

Strong communication and listening skills

Comfort collaborating with advanced practice providers

Your Role
As a Physician at Mercy‑GoHealth, you’ll independently provide a wide range of clinical services, including:

Examining and treating patients with acute conditions

Taking medical histories and ordering diagnostic tests

Making diagnoses and prescribing medications

Performing minor procedures and administering vaccinations

Documenting patient progress and coordinating follow‑up care

Supervising and collaborating with PA/NPs, including remote supervision and credentialing support

Working 8‑ or 12‑hour shifts in a fast‑paced, patient‑focused setting
