Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Dental Assistant located in Sonora, CA. The Dental Assistant will support the dental team by preparing and sterilizing instruments, setting up treatment areas, assisting during dental procedures, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. Additional duties include taking and processing X-rays, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Dental Care, Oral Care, and general Dentistry practices
Knowledge of Sterilization techniques and infection control protocols
Hands-on experience with Dental Assisting, including chairside support during procedures
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient education and team collaboration
State-specific certifications and licenses for dental assisting
Basic knowledge of dental software systems is a plus
High attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
