Duties & Responsibilities
Pull correct stock bottles from inventory and stage prescriptions for packaging.
Accurately dispense and label prescription orders.
Prepare unit dose packaging (e.g., blister cards) based on directions for use, by hand or using packaging machines.
Pull the correct pre‑packed blister card and affix prescription labels.
Sort and organize completed prescriptions.
Perform quality assurance checks as directed.
Prepare orders for delivery.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Abilities
Must possess an active Texas State Board of Pharmacy Technician License.
Ability to perform pharmacy calculations.
Understanding of basic pharmacy terminology to interpret prescriptions.
Ability to complete projects promptly.
Ability to work with little oversight or guidance.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times and traverse close quarters quickly.
Must be able to stand for the duration of an eight‑hour shift.
