Position Summary
Staff Pharmacist – Walmart Pharmacy
Position Summary: You will provide pharmaceutical care to customers, counsel on medication needs, administer immunizations, ensure compliance with company policies and regulations, and model proper customer service approaches for pharmacy staff.
Responsibilities
Provide professional pharmaceutical care to customers and accurately dispense prescription orders.
Counsel customers regarding healthcare and prescription medication needs.
Administer immunizations and comply with Walmart’s immunization programs.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, regulations, and HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
Model and provide guidance to pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, PharmD, or equivalent (e.g., FPGE).
Active pharmacy license by job entry date.
Completion of an ACPE‑accredited immunization training program.
Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and work within a team.
Compensation
Annual salary range: $98,000.00 – $172,000.00 for a 40‑hour/week schedule (other schedules are prorated). Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
