The Position
We are seeking an experienced Construction Administrator (Project Architect / Project Manager level) to support complex healthcare projects, with a strong focus on HCAI/OSHPD environments. This role plays a critical role in ensuring projects are executed with precision during the construction phase by serving as a key liaison among design teams, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
What You’ll Do
Lead construction administration efforts from bidding through project closeout on healthcare projects
Review and respond to RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and change orders
Conduct field observations and document construction progress, quality, and compliance
Monitor construction to ensure alignment with contract documents, codes, and design intent
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies (including HCAI/OSHPD)
Prepare field reports, meeting minutes, and construction documentation
Review pay applications, cost estimates, and assist with value engineering efforts
Track construction issues through resolution and communicate updates to stakeholders
Support project closeout, including punch lists, as‑built drawings, and final documentation
Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal CA process improvements
What You Need (Qualifications)
7+ years of experience in architecture or construction, with a strong Construction Administration (CA) focus
Extensive healthcare project experience required (HCAI/OSHPD)
Proven expertise in full construction administration processes and documentation
Strong understanding of building codes, life safety, and regulatory compliance
Experience coordinating with contractors, consultants, and governing agencies
Ability to manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and construction documentation independently
Licensed Architect (CA or NCARB) preferred, but not required
Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
