Overview
We are seeking a Medical Surgical LPN (Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse) to work at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco, TX. The LPN plays an important role on our hospital’s medical‑surgical unit, providing hands‑on patient care to patients recovering from surgery, managing chronic or acute illnesses, or undergoing diagnostic procedures. Working alongside RNs, physicians, and other healthcare team members, the LPN assists with patient care and ensures comfort and safety.

Responsibilities
The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, to meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care and to meet the communication needs of the patient and family. The LPN performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Qualifications
Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse
Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintenance
IV certification upon hire
