Position Highlights
Position : Registered Nurse Navigator Oncology
Location : NCH - Infusion Clinic - Arlington Heights, IL
Full Time | 40 hours/week
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, no weekends or holidays
What you will do
Functions on the multidisciplinary team as an advocate, educator, and counselor for oncology patients.
Responsible for ensuring all patients with an oncology diagnosis receive quality and comprehensive services.
Coordinates patient care throughout the continuum in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
Provides clinical resource with expertise in hematology/oncology care management.
Serves as a liaison throughout the facility and in the community regarding services provided for this patient population.
Provides expert nursing care, which includes: consultation, direct clinical practice, education, and research.
What you will need
Education: Bachelor\'s Degree in Nursing,
required . Master\'s Degree in Nursing, preferred.
License: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse license,
required .
Certification: BLS/CPR issued by the American Heart Association,
required . Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification, preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of previous clinical oncology experience,
required .
