The Department of Radiology & Radiological Science at The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a full‑time Breast Imaging Radiologist to work at our hospitals in the Pee Dee region (Florence, Marion, Black River). This community‑based practice uses a streamlined multidisciplinary approach to provide high‑quality, compassionate care.
About the opportunity
Full‑time onsite position Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
No weekends, no call
Strong foundation in all aspects of breast imaging, including screening and diagnostic mammography, MRI, biopsies, and localizations
BC or BE certification, MQSA certified, completed a one‑year fellowship in Breast Imaging
Experience with tomosynthesis units, performing image‑guided biopsies (ultrasound, MRI, stereotactic, and localization procedures)
Single VPN with Sectra PACS, PowerScribe dictation system
Work with state‑of‑the‑art equipment in a well‑established, collaborative environment
Support from a premier cancer institute and dedicated breast specialists across multiple disciplines
Weekly Breast Tumor Boards for quality care
