Job Overview
The Mental Health Therapist II – School position is integrated into a school environment and partners with the Providence clinical team and school personnel to impact overall health and wellness of the school population. The therapist provides clinical services including mental health/substance use assessments, treatment planning, individual, group, family therapeutic interventions, crisis intervention, risk assessment, education, and case management. The therapist also provides education, support, and consultation services to the academic team and guidance to the Mental Health Therapist II.
Job Details
Hours: Full time, 1 FTE, Day shift, 40 hours per week.
Location: Providence Regional Building – Anchorage, AK. Address: 3760 Piper St.
Pay Range: $40.11 - $62.27 per hour (base pay). Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work or health related field
Alaska Masters Social Worker License, Alaska Clinical Social Worker License, Alaska Psychologist License, Alaska Marriage and Family Therapist License, or Alaska Professional Counselor License upon hire
5 years of clinical experience
