Position Summary
The University seeks adjunct faculty members in psychology. This pool position may or may not have openings; applications remain active for two years.
Essential Functions
Teach classes as assigned from the regular psychology program curriculum.
Prepare syllabi and deliver curriculum appropriate for the course assigned.
Appropriately respond to student needs and feedback.
Assess the course learning outcomes.
Foster an inclusive educational environment to serve all learners.
Maintain student attendance records in accordance with university policy.
Submit mid‑term and final grades on time.
Advise and/or mentor students through electronic communications and other appropriate methods.
Complete all required training, including training on Engage LMS.
Requirements
Candidates should have a master’s level degree or above in psychology or a bachelor’s in psychology AND a master’s or above in counseling, sociology, or social work.
