Position Overview
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to join our Finance & Accounting team. This role provides hands‑on experience supporting day‑to‑day accounting operations while working closely with the Assistant Corporate Controller and the broader finance team. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, organized, and interested in developing practical accounting skills in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes

Prepare and post journal entries under supervision

Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies

Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation

Assist with financial reporting and analysis

Participate in audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation

Perform data entry and ensure accuracy in accounting systems

Support special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Effective written and verbal communication skills

High level of integrity and professionalism

Work Environment
This is a hybrid position requiring interns to work onsite at least one day per week, with the remaining time eligible for remote work based on team needs and performance.
