This position is specifically for nursing students who are participating in the Advanced Student Experience (ASE) Program in their final semester of school.
Job Summary
As an Advanced Student Experience (ASE) Nurse Extern, you will work with experienced staff to develop clinical skills within a supportive learning environment.
Qualifications
Volunteer or experience in an acute care hospital setting – preferred
Age‑specific knowledge of patient population in the specific department – preferred
Currently enrolled and in good standing with an accredited school of Nursing
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross – required
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification – preferred
