Role Summary
The Workday Time & Absence Senior Consultant serves as a subject matter expert responsible for the design, configuration, support, and optimization of Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management solutions. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, HR, Payroll, and IT teams to ensure compliant, scalable, and efficient time and absence processes throughout the Workday lifecycle, including implementation, post‑production support, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, configuration, and support of Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management modules, ensuring alignment with business policies and regulatory requirements.
Configure And Maintain
Must have good hands‑on knowledge on Time off Plans, Time Calculations, Time Codes, Time Entry Templates, absence codes, Work schedules calendars, holiday, and public calendar.
Work schedules and schedule assignments
Absence plans, eligibility rules, and accruals
Time and absence business processes
Time Entry, absence process, Overtime, shift differential, shift premium, exception time.
Other Responsibilities
Support integrations and downstream impacts with Payroll and related HCM modules
Perform impact analysis for new requirements, regulatory changes, or enhancements and recommend optimal Workday solutions.
Act as a trusted advisor to business and HR stakeholders, providing guidance on best practices, design options, and risk considerations.
Lead requirement‑gathering workshops, design sessions, and solution walkthroughs.
Lead and support unit testing, system testing, UAT, and production validation activities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
7+ years of hands‑on Workday experience with strong specialization in Time Tracking and Absence Management.
Experience supporting complex time and absence rules, including multi‑location or global environments.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work independently and lead functional workstreams
