NOW HIRING: Fiber Optic Cable Splicers / Low Voltage Technicians
Wage: $25–$32 per hour
Contract Type: Direct Placement – Full-time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7 a.m.–5 p.m. (overtime available)
Job Description: We are looking for experienced Fiber Optic Splicers to support fiber installation and maintenance projects at data centers nationwide. This role supports installation, new‑construction turn‑ups, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of fiber‑optic networks.
Responsibilities
Perform fiber optic splicing for new construction and live network environments
Terminate, test, troubleshoot, and maintain fiber optic networks
Build and work within fiber optic splice cases, including cases with live customer traffic
Conduct ribbon and loose‑tube splicing (single‑mode and multi‑mode)
Perform mass/ribbon splicing on fiber counts ranging from 6‑count flat drop to 432‑count
Operate and interpret test results using OTDRs, Flukes, and power meters
Provide OTDR trace results for client network turn‑ups as required
Follow safety standards and quality procedures on all job sites
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Fiber Optic Splicer
Strong working knowledge of fusion splicing, fiber strippers and cleavers, power meters and OTDR equipment, aerial booms and related tools, and both ribbon and loose‑tube fiber
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve fiber network issues efficiently
Comfortable working in live network environments
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ribbon splicing experience preferred but not required
Experience with wire harness assembly, cable routing, Cat 6 cables, and fiber optic installation

Pay range: $41,600 – $52,000 per year
