Job Description
Our dynamic Law Office is seeking a highly-skilled and self-motivated Immigration Court Paralegal to join our growing team. Someone who is organized, detail-oriented, punctual and reliable. Must be BI-LINGUAL (Spanish/English)
Responsibilities
2 years immigration court experience handling both Master and Individual hearings
Proficient knowledge and experienced handling cases before EOIR such as; Asylum, 42B, 42A, Motions, eservice, and Adjustment of status.
Calendaring, filing applications, and knowledge of EOIR court system.
Must have experience with USCIS Applications:
Family-based petitions
Waivers
U-visa/VAWA
Skills
Dependable and able to work independently in a fast paced environment
Perform administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, photocopying, collating, faxing, and organizing client database
Professional attitude and appearance
Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
Solid written and verbal communication skills (Spanish/English)
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
Excellent organizational skills
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Excellent customer service and documentation skills
Excellent listening and phone skills
Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
