Overview
Role Summary / Purpose
The Inventory Control Clerk II supports Locke’s inventory accuracy and efficiency goals by performing advanced cycle counts, resolving material discrepancies, and coordinating material movement throughout the yard. This role requires forklift operation and a strong focus on precision, teamwork, and proactive communication.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine and targeted cycle counts to validate inventory accuracy
Investigate and reconcile material discrepancies in the ERP system
Operate forklifts and material‑handling equipment to move, load, and store materials
Update and maintain inventory records in Titan ERP
Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or excess to the supervisor
Support production and shipping teams by ensuring timely material availability
Identify opportunities for process improvement in storage and tracking
Key Results
Achieve and sustain 98%+ inventory accuracy in assigned zones
Demonstrate safe, incident‑free operation of forklifts and other equipment
Ensure 100% on‑time completion of cycle counts and reconciliations
Provide clear, consistent communication with production and operations teams
Reduce recurring discrepancies through proactive problem‑solving
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
1–3 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or logistics roles
Valid forklift certification with proven safe operation
Experience using ERP or warehouse management systems
Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively across teams in a fast‑paced environment
